Learn how to transfer photos from your Nikon D7200 to your iPhone or Android phone. NFC and Android If you have an Android device, transferring images can be very easy with NFC, or Near Field Communication. From the Menu, go to the Setup Menu which is indicated by the Wrench icon and scroll down to NFC and turn it ON. Install Nikon’s Wireless Mobile Utility application on your (Android) Simply tap to connect and hold your NFC capable Android phone up to the side of the camera near the SD Card slot, and your phone will connect to the D7200. For iPhones and non-NFC Android phones From the Menu, go to Setup Menu which is indicated by the Wrench icon and scroll down to Wi-Fi to ensure that it’s turned ON. Install Nikon’s Wireless Mobile Utility application on your phone. Wireless Mobile Utility (iPhone) Wireless Mobile Utility (Android) From the Wi-Fi settings menu on the D7200, select Network settings. Select View SSID. It will display the name of the network created by the D7200. Go to the Wi-Fi settings menu on your phone and look for the Wi-Fi SSID of the D7200. You will see that there is no lock, or security icon indicated next to the network, which means this network is insecure. This means that anyone with the Nikon App installed on their phone can connect to the D7200’s network and access the photos and video when Wi-Fi is enabled on your camera. How to use Wifi on Canon 5D MKIV with an iPhone

Learn how to use Wifi & NFC on your Canon 5D MKIV to transfer photos to your iPhone. Go into your Menu and on the fourth page, select Communications settings. Choose Built-in wireless settings. Customize the Nickname of your Camera or leave it at its default name. Select Wi-Fi/NFC and choose Enable. The NFC Function is for use with Android phones only. To turn off this function, uncheck the box by hitting the Info button. Go to Wi-Fi function and select the Connect to smartphone. Choose from any of the available SET slots to save these settings for future use. Select Easy Connection and hit OK. It will show you the SSID of the Wi-Fi connection created by the 5D MKIV as well as its Encryption Key. Download the Canon Camera Connect App for the iPhone and go to the Wi-Fi Settings on your iPhone and connect to the network created by the 5D MKIV. Open the App and it will see that there is a New camera found. Select the listed Camera. On the 5D MKIV it will ask if you want to Connect to this smartphone: iPhone. Learn how to use Wifi & NFC on your Canon 80D. Transfer images to your iPhone or Android phone easily using your Canon 80D Wifi & NFC and the Canon Camera App. Newer Android phones have a great NFC feature while Apple only has NFC with Apple Pay, which means you will need to do another step for IPhones and older Androids. For Android phones with NFC: On your phone download the correct application from the Google Play store, called Canon Camera Connect. Go into the Menu of your 80D and access the Wireless Communication Settings and enable WiFi / NFC and have the Allow NFC Connections box checked. The 80D will ask you to register a nickname for this connection. Hit the Menu Button to save. Label the connection something that makes sense to you. Leaving it the default, EOS80D, is also okay. Simply hold your Android phone up to the side of your 80D to automatically bring up the Canon Camera Connect App and it will ask to connect to your 80D. It will ask you if you’d like to connect.
