It’s Jared with Ditch Auto and I wanted to talk today about my backpack. My backpack that is my camera bag, my laptop bag. it’s all the things and I’ve been using it non-stop. Now, I ordered this, this is the peak design bag. It’s fantastic. I also have their messenger bag. I feel like for a lot of years I’ve been a messenger bag kind of guy. I’m not really too sure why. The Sony a9 is Here!

In Photography by Jerad HillLeave a Comment

I recently received the Sony a9 I purchased as a pre-order and have been putting it through the paces. I am excited to report back and share my findings with everybody. The biggest question I have been receiving is whether or not it is worth the added cost over the Sony a7rII. The jury is still out on that decision. I have to spend more time with the camera to determine if it’s worth the price. This camera is geared toward Sports Photographers, but I was intrigued when I saw the zero blackout of the shutter. You can continuously look through the shutter as you take photos and not be interrupted by a photo preview or anything distraction. You can just continue to shoot. It’s hard to explain, but it’s amazing. Here are a couple of photos I took with my Sony a6500 of the camera while I waited for the Sony a9’s battery to charge up. Make sure to follow @ditch_auto, @jeradhillphoto, and @jeradhill on Instagram to see more photos as I continue to test the Sony a9.
